A few years ago a close friend of the Orlandi family (the owners of GPR) complained that he could not get a decent exhaust for his scooter and asked them to make him one. At the time they were busy with developing exhausts for the Gresini MotoGP team that were about to catapult Casey Stoner into the limelight. But to keep the friend happy they made a system for his scooter. So impressed was the friend that he told his friends and they told their friends and soon they were getting requests every day and decided to use the skills and knowledge learnt helping superbike riders to produce a range of high quality good value scooter exhausts. The range can broadly be split into two groups, four stoke and two stroke. The four stroke exhausts share a lot of their design features with the motorcycle range. In fact the Streetfighter silencer is used on many motorcycles. The two stroke range of Roadlife silencers is a more recent addition and as it requires different technology is usually outsourced to specialist two stroke manufacturing companies
